Members of the FCHS Young Democrats Club participated in their 2nd-annual donation drive to raise money for their chosen local charity, Fresh Start Frankfort. Club members gave staff freshly baked treats in hopes of collecting donations for their cause. The FCHS staff were very generous: the club raised almost $250!

This past Friday, we heard a familiar voice in the press box and had to go say hello. To our surprise, we found a group of FCHS’ biggest fans! These gentlemen are instrumental in keeping the play-by-play running smoothly in the press box.

Franklin County senior volleyball player Lauren Parker has continued breaking records this season. Last year, she set a school record for most digs in a single match with 33. This year, Parker became the school’s all-time leader in career digs. She had 1,220 digs going into Tuesday’s match against Madison Central, passing Sophie Dufour’s record of 1,180. Dufour is now a freshman on the American University volleyball team.
