Dear Franklin County community,

We are thrilled to bring this amazing opportunity to all of our families who utilize our bus transportation services. With this app, you’ll be able to track your child’s bus in real time, receive important notifications, and communicate directly with our transportation team. Keep an eye out for an invitation from us soon if you haven't already received your invite!

We also want to share some early feedback from one of our families. This is proof that this tool is already making a difference! A huge shoutout to Sherry Boarman and Brad McKinney for their dedication and hard work in bringing this project to life.

FCS Families, our transportation team has some very exciting news! 🚍

Our transportation team has begun rolling out the Stopfinder app starting with Peaks Mill Elementary. Next up: all east side schools will be added, followed by west side schools.

This app will let you track your child’s bus location for accurate pickup and drop-off times as well as any alerts that may arise. Please keep an eye on your email for your official invite to connect your child’s bus!

Today is Giving Tuesday! Each year, Franklin County Schools provides support to between 150–200 students who qualify for assistance under the McKinney-Vento Act.

Last month, during Student Homeless Awareness Month, we highlighted our partnership with the Frankfort Cares Coalition, which helps ensure our unhoused students receive the resources and care they need.

If you’re able, we invite you to join us in this mission. Your donation directly supports students in our community:
